--Dr. Myles Monroe A truly single Christian doesn't look for a mate; he or she is ready for a mate. Hence, we don't come into a singles' ministry in search of anything; we come to fulfill whatever purpose God has ordained for us! Singles ministries are for exploring how to maximize your Kingdom effectiveness. The Apostle Paul wrote that singleness is the most effective time period for accomplishing God's business and is wrought with auspicious opportunities for intense focus and mission accomplishment than when one is married. Families dedicated to the service of the Lord are powerful; truly single Christians are given to how they might best please God. [I Cor. 7:33-34] For You? The GCDM Singles' Ministry is open to singles of all ages and backgrounds. Young adults have an opportunity to seek advice and counsel from more seasoned adults, and more seasoned adults have an opportunity to thrive off the experiences of appointed advisors who are single, married, or widowed. What ministry is the Lord leading you toward? What do you love? The Singles' Ministry advisory staff and your peers will help you find your niche and develop projects around that niche to help bless, grow, and establish both you and the body of Christ! Meetings: The GCDM Singles' Ministry meets every 1st Monday of the month in the Church's community room from 7 PM to approximately 8:30 PM.
